The Passive Fire Assurance Role
The Passive Fire Assurance Manager is a key team member responsible for ensuring compliance with fire strategy, legislation, and Building Regulations during construction. You will support projects with passive fire queries, demonstrate compliance, and guide projects toward compliant resolutions. You may also assist in arranging fire tests or engineering judgments when necessary.
You will conduct site visits, inspections, and audits—both on-site and off-site as required—raising awareness of non-compliance and good practices related to passive fire, and maintaining records. Sharing your expertise and driving compliance in passive fire matters is essential, along with maintaining a robust portfolio of evidence to demonstrate compliance.
