Role Summary
As an Engineering Administrator at Babcock Vehicle Engineering, you will provide vital administrative and operational support to a multidisciplinary engineering team. Your work will help ensure engineering activities run smoothly, documentation is maintained accurately, and projects remain aligned with customer requirements and company standards.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating and preparing materials for meetings, including agendas and minutes and updating internal databases and systems
* Supporting engineers with project administration, reports, and technical documentation and managing and maintaining engineering documentation, records, and filing systems
* Arranging travel, processing expenses, and ordering office supplies and equipment
* Obtaining technical Repair and Maintenance Information via Vehicle Manufacturer portals
* Providing Data input support into Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Product Data Management (PDM) tools
Essential Experience
* Administration experience within an engineering, automotive, manufacturing, or similar environment
* Strong organisational skills with an analytical mindset
* Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
* Experience using Navision or similar systems, advantageous
