Job overview The post holder will be responsible for assisting the QA Team Lead and the Pharmacy QA Lead in the day-to-day delivery of quality control service to BHT, external NHS Trusts and private companies. The post holder will be mainly responsible for ensuring that QC & QA tasks are performed according to relevant regulatory legislation and required standards. This role involves supervising and training of the QA Junior Technicians, providing initial training to Aseptic personnel, carry out non-conformance reporting, assisting with all matters related to Quality Management System, data trending analysis and reporting. Main duties of the job The post holder will: Use the Trust and Pharmacy Quality Assurance computer systems to carry out tasks in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring a safe and efficient service can be provided whilst delivering the highest quality service through personal actions and continuous improvement. • Assist in the delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as allocated by Senior Quality Assurance Leads. • Follow all legal and departmental practices including Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), The Orange Guide, The Yellow Guide, COSHH, Moving and Handling Regulations and all Trust Policies and Procedures. • Assist the senior technicians in the devising and completion of workplace audits to ensure best practice, efficiency, and appropriateness of service. • Be expected to contribute to the development of Pharmacy Quality Assurance services and promote the highest standards of professional practice.
