About the Opportunity
A well-established and growing manufacturing organisation based in Chippenham is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide vital cover for a long-term staff absence.Working in a lean, hands-on finance team of two, you'll take full ownership of the finance function and play a key role in supporting both the MD and Group FD with accurate reporting, cash management and operational insight. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced SME or manufacturing finance professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and partnering closely with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Full Ownership of Monthly Finance
1. End-to-end month-end close, journals, reconciliations, accruals & prepayments
2. Preparation of management accounts with clear commentary
3. Cashflow forecasting, budgeting and scenario planning
Financial Controls & Governance
4. Maintaining tight financial controls across all processes
5. Ensuring accuracy of the balance sheet and financial data
6. Supporting statutory and group reporting requirements
Transactional Finance Oversight
7. Oversight of AP/AR, bank payments, payroll checks and coding
8. Hands-on support within a small team
