We are recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants and Classroom Support staff to work across primary and secondary schools in Wigan, supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs in the classroom and throughout the wider school community.

The Role in Wigan Schools
You will:

Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs in mainstream classrooms
*
Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
*
Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour support strategies
*
Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
*
Promote inclusion across the wider school environment
*
Provide support during transitions, break times and structured activities
*
Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
You will be a steady and consistent presence in a child’s day — someone they can trust and rely on.
