We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic and approachable professional to join our wonderful school. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to shape a brand new role at the school and the role can be tailored to previous skills and experience as needed. You will need to be able to work flexibly and creatively in a variety of ways to help children across all key stages overcome their barriers to learning. Good literacy and numeracy skills, excellent organisational skills and behaviour management skills are essential. Previous experience of the knowledge and skills for the role is preferred.

FURTHER DETAILS REGARDING THE POST
The successful candidate will be involved in the following:
* Growing our 1:1 and small group intervention outside of the classroom in our dedicated learning space
* Supporting individuals and small groups within the classroom
* Running lunchtime activities to provide children with a positive experience during the lunch hour
* Family liaison and encouraging parental involvement
* Working collaboratively with class teachers, the SENCO and external agencies as needed
In addition, the successful candidate must:
* have high aspirations for all children and believe that all children can achieve and
* be successful be committed to their own professional learning
* be willing to work collaboratively with all staff in order to achieve the very best outcomes for each pupil
* be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people
