Role Description:
To carry out electrical repair and maintenance work on factory equipment and services to maintain efficient operations of the plant.
Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of glass bottle forming machines and all plant equipment and services.
* Performing reactive/planned preventative maintenance (PM)
* Identify and repair electrical faults with factory equipment and services.
* Small electrical installations, electrical modification projects.
Required skills / qualifications:
* Must have gained a recognised Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
* Educated to HNC/HND level.
* Good fault-finding and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of PLC’s and Inverter drives.
* Ability to understand technical drawings.
* Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team under pressure.
* Good team ethic.
* Commitment and enthusiasm to support a 24-hour process.
* Excellent engineering skills and initiative.
* Computer literate with good oral and written communication skills.
* Have a good understanding of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Tools and continuous improvement.
* Have an awareness of relevant Health & Safety and Hygiene Regulations.

* Salary based on Grade 6 of the harmonised pay scales (Shift worker). Minimum grade £44,018 p.a. to maximum grade £49,005 p.a.
