License Required: Must hold a valid Millwright License
About the Role
As a Licensed Millwright at Cargill, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced environment where your mechanical expertise will directly support food production.
What You Need
* Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
* Valid Millwright License
* Minimum age: 18 years
* Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
* Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
* Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
* Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
* Able to work in confined spaces
What You’ll Do
* Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
* Operate motorized vehicles and equipment
* Follow all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations
* Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Welding certification or other trade experience
* Forklift certification
* Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
* Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
