At Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council we value our residents and are committed to delivering high quality service. To support the customer experience, a new role has been created for a Business Analyst to join our Programme Management Office (PMO) and Improvement team.
The team sits within the Customers, Digital and Improvement Directorate providing strategic advice and guidance along with delivery of programmes and projects, change management, performance management and continuous improvement activity.
The team works closely with all council services including HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Communications and Marketing and external partners to ensure successful outcomes.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with previous and practical experience of data analysis and visualisation approaches, problem solving and process re-engineering.
The ideal candidate, will have previous experience of working in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders, taking an evidence-based approach to generating insights into current processes and the ability to challenge and identify creative solution which will deliver quality, cost efficient services and customer experience.
The successful candidate will have a recognised project management and business analysis accreditation.
