We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Media Specialist to shape how patients and the public engage with healthcare online. In this hybrid role, you will lead content strategy across platforms, build community through compelling storytelling, and collaborate with influencers, creators, and patients to grow brand engagement. This is a hybrid role.
Role Description
* Deliver engaging digital content across multiple platforms, aligned with campaign objectives.
* Help source and coordinate external influencers, collaborators, and key opinion leaders for social content and podcast episodes.
* Monitor and respond to audience comments and messages to build community, encourage conversions, and foster brand affinity — regularly sharing insights with the wider team.
* Keep up to date with industry trends and social media algorithm changes, applying learnings to improve performance.
* Work closely with the patient support team to ensure enquiries via social channels are addressed quickly and effectively.
* Share updates on industry news and events with the team to inform patient-facing communications.
* Monitor online reviews and ensure timely, brand-appropriate responses.
Skills, Experience, And Qualifications
* 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and podcasts.
* Strong understanding of brand voice and the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and platforms.
* Confident in analysing social media metrics and suggesting improvements based on results.
* Excellent copywriting skills with an eye for compelling and consistent messaging.
* Experience managing and responding to public and private enquiries via social platforms.
* Ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines, and balance multiple projects.
* Working knowledge of social media algorithms, particularly around restricted content.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Clear and collaborative communicator.
* Experience in healthcare is advantageous but not essential.
