Instrument and Control Technician
We're looking for an Instrument and Control Technician to join the Maintenance team in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire close to Haverfordwest in South-West Wales.
Role Overview:
As an Instrument and Control Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and control systems used in operations.
Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems, such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and data acquisition devices.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in instrumentation and control systems, both hardware and software related, to identify faults and implement timely repairs.
* Conduct preventive maintenance on instruments and control equipment to ensure optimal performance and prolong their lifespan.
* Participate in regular inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of instruments and control systems.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an Instrument and Control Technician or a similar role, with hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems.
2. Strong knowledge of various control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
