About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with a range of needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Working closely with teaching staff, you will help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils
Assist with classroom activities and lesson delivery
Support the emotional and social development of students
Implement personalised learning strategies and behaviour plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children or young people (preferably in an educational setting)
Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable
Can communicate effectively with students and staff
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Holds (or is willing to work towards) relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
