* Hours: 37 hours per week
Care Network is a charity based in Blackburn with Darwen that provides a range of services that enables individuals and communities in the borough to be informed, empowered, resilient, independent, and healthy.
We support the local learning disability, autistic, and neuro-diverse communities to come together and have a say on things that affect their lives.
This new role will bring together these communities to engage in meaningful volunteering activities, amplify their voice, and make Blackburn with Darwen a better place to live for disabled people.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for delivering this new project. You will engage a range of organisations and businesses across the borough to create opportunities for volunteers to engage in.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference and who can help us develop innovative partnerships and opportunities. You will ensure that volunteers have a great experience and that the profile of disability is raised locally.
This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
