We are looking for a qualified Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Year 5 team for the remainder of the academic year.
About the Role
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, providing support within a Year 5 classroom. Duties include:
1. General TA responsibilities supporting pupils and the class teachers
2. Occasional one-to-one support where needed
3. Covering the class independently for 30 minutes twice a day, Monday to Wednesday, to allow the teacher to attend scheduledmitments
4. Working alongside two class teachers—one covering Monday to Wednesday and another Thursday and Friday
Your flexibility and reliability will be greatly valued by the team.
Requirements
5. Must be a qualified Teaching Assistant (, Level 2/3 or equivalent)
6. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
7. Confident supporting learning across Key Stage 2
8. Able to manage a classroom independently for short periods
9. Positive, proactive and able to work well as part of a team
