Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen at VINCI Facilities for a Security Officer to join our existing established security team based in Cardiff.
VINCI Facilities require Security Officers to join the team and provide general manned guarding security services at one of our prestigious sites. This is a key role working as part of our professional Security team providing a proactive high level customer focused security service to our client.
Our security officers are expected to be flexible and take responsibility for delivering proactive and effective security service and deliver detection and prevention activities as well as emergency response to maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, visitors and contractors and ensure the sites security integrity is maintained.
Responsibilities
Maintain the highest level of security by delivering proactive and effective detection and prevention activities as well as emergency response
Conduct effective security tasks including but not limited to:
1. Internal and External Patrolling
2. Gatehouse Duties
3. Reception and X-Ray scanning duties
4. CCTV Monitoring
5. Control Room and Key Control Tasks
6. Support the Security Supervisory and Management team ensuring that regular reviews of security vulnerabilities are carried out and any concerns identified and highlighted, addressed or suitably mitigated
7. Demonstrate a high level of competency in the use of all security systems to maximise their operational benefit
Essential Qualifications/Skills
8. Security Industry Authority (SIA) Frontline SG/DS/CP Licence
9. Security Industry Authority (SIA) CCTV Licence
10. Full 5 year employment checkable history to meet BS7858 screening requirements
11. Ability to obtain and maintain Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) security clearance
12. Flexible to meet the job requirements
13. Reliable and punctual
