In your new role, you will be working with a team of fitters who maintain a time critical fleet of around 150 vehicles across 4 depots in Surrey.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of the vehicles and any associated plant, ensuring cost effective repairs are carried out at all times, you will ensure all documentation, service sheets and work orders arepleted and returned, maintaining a clean and tidy work area and that all aspects of health and safety are adhered to.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have demonstrable experience as a Technician / Fitter / Mechanic from a HGV or Plant background. Ideally, you will be trained to City & Guilds or NVQ, and have a thorough understanding of COSHH. Any experience of attending breakdowns and a HGV licence (ideally Cat C) would be an advantage.
