As a Print Operative, you will play a key role in the setup, operation, and maintenance of commercial printing machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities * Operate and maintain printing presses efficiently and safely * Set up machines for production runs, including ink, plates, and paper alignment * Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments during runs * Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment * Ensure production targets and deadlines are met * Work closely with the production team to maintain workflow and minimise downtime * Adhere to company health and safety procedures at all times Skills and Experience Required * Proven experience working within a print production environment * Experience operating Akiyama or Heidelberg printing machines is highly advantageous * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good problem-solving and mechanical skills * Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively Benefits * Opportunity for permanent employment after successful temporary period * Day shift hours – Monday to Friday * Supportive team environment * Competitive pay based on experience
