We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join the kitchen team at a busy hotel and pub in the New Forest. This role is working 5 days out of 7, with shifts from 6:00am to 2:30pm. this position is not available with live in accommodation and own transport is essential due to the rural location Key Responsibilities Preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast dishes to standard Producing selected items for the continental breakfast offering Ensuring individually plated hot breakfasts are presented consistently and to a high standard Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness throughout service, correct storage and labelling of food. Demonstrating a strong understanding of allergens and safe food handling procedures Completing all daily kitchen checklists accurately and on time Preparing ingredients and mise en place for the following day after breakfast service Supporting the wider kitchen team to ensure a smooth transition into lunch service What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a breakfast chef or similar kitchen role Good organisational and time management skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and presentation A positive team-focused attitude Knowledge of food safety and allergen regulations This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys early starts, takes pride in quality breakfast service, and works well as part of a professional kitchen team.
