Are you ready to shape the future of digital tax in the UK? We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the rollout of our Making Tax Digital (MTD) proposition — a flagship initiative transforming how sole traders and landlords file their taxes from April 2026.
This is your chance to take an end-to-end product from concept to launch, innovate in financial technology, and make a real impact on millions of users.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead the delivery of the MTD product, turning complex compliance rules into intuitive, scalable digital solutions.
* Implement cutting-edge Account-to-Account (A2A) payment systems, integrating direct bank-to-bank rails to reduce costs, speed settlements, and simplify checkouts.
* Work with Open Banking APIs and real-time payment (RTP) systems to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable financial experiences.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams — product, design, engineering, and go-to-market — to bring ideas to life.
* Run pilot programs, gather user insights, and refine solutions before launch.
* Drive KPIs, strategic reporting, and progress updates for senior leadership.
1. What You’ll Bring:
* Proven experience with zero-to-one product launches in fintech or digital services.
* Strong background in accounting, compliance, or financial software (preferred).
* Hands-on experience with A2A payments, Open Banking integration, and RTP implementation.
* Deep expertise in customer research and insight-driven product development.
* Ability to navigate complexity, prioritize effectively, and lead teams through ambiguity.
* Experience building mobile apps or transformative digital products.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments.
