IT Infrastructure Support Engineer – Remote Server Operations Opus are working with a key client who are seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our Enterprise Systems team. This role is focused on ensuring the availability of critical server platforms by carrying out remote monitoring, diagnostics, and server resets. Where remote resolution is not possible, you will be responsible for escalating issues and coordinating with field engineers to ensure timely on-site support. You’ll be working across infrastructure that supports SCADA and telemetry systems, playing a vital role in maintaining operational continuity. Key Responsibilities: Carry out remote server resets and diagnostics to resolve incidents. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in remote support. Escalate unresolved issues and coordinate field engineer attendance. Support patching, upgrades, and configuration deployments. Collaborate with internal IT teams and external suppliers. Essential Criteria: Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in remote support. Remote server resets and diagnostics to resolve incidents. Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident and change management. Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment. Desirable Criteria: Experience working with SCADA, ICS, or telemetry systems. ITIL Foundation certification
