Job Description:
An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Home Manager to manage an exceptional nursing home based in the St Albans, Hertfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers.
This is a nursing home with a warm family atmosphere; highly trained staff are available to get to know residents individually, offering the highest standards of residential, nursing, and dementia care on a permanent and short stay basis.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As the Home Manager, your key responsibilities include:
1. Manage all aspects of the Home’s daily operation
2. Ensure the highest possible standard of care is provided in accordance with company policy and registration with the CQC
3. Maintain and/or improve the CQC rating for the Home
4. Lead the Management Team, including the Deputy Manager and working alongside the Administration Manager
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
1. Ensure smooth running of the home
2. Ability to deliver outstanding care for residents
3. Goes the extra mile for residents and staff
4. Experience in a nursing home
5. CQC Ratings of Good or Outstanding in current home
The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £70,000 per annum. This is a permanent full-time role working day shifts only. In return, you will enjoy the following benefits:
