Position Overview
IRIS is seeking an experienced Vice President of Web Presence to lead our digital transformation initiatives and establish a cohesive online presence. This role will be responsible for creation and optimization of a unified, high-performing web ecosystem that effectively communicates our value proposition and drives measurable business results.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
* Develop and execute a comprehensive website strategy aligned with IRIS's business objectives and core solution areas
* Lead executive decision-making on critical web presence matters, including regional site strategy (e.g., UK vs. US versions)
* Create a roadmap for the rationalization and consolidation of any satellite websites into a cohesive digital ecosystem
* Establish clear KPIs and success metrics for all web properties including conversion of visitors to sales opportunities, site engagement, site performance, and others.
Performance Optimization
* Drive continuous improvement in demand generation conversion metrics across all web properties
* Enhance visitor site engagement through data-driven UX/UI enhancements
* Implement and maintain SEO best practices to maximize organic visibility and traffic
* Optimize technical performance metrics including page load times, mobile responsiveness, and overall site speed
* Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to refine user journeys and conversion funnels
Team Leadership
* Build and lead a high-performing web team, including content strategists, UX/UI specialists, developers, and analytics professionals
* Foster collaboration between marketing, sales, product, and technology teams to ensure alignment of web strategy with broader business goals
* Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors as needed
* Advocate for user-centered design and data-driven decision making across the organization
Technology & Innovation
* Evaluate and recommend appropriate technology platforms and tools to support IRIS's web presence objectives
* Ensure all web properties adhere to current security standards and compliance requirements
* Stay current with emerging web technologies and digital marketing trends to maintain competitive advantage
* Develop integration strategies between web properties and other business systems (CRM, marketing automation, etc.)
Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
* 5+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, web strategy, or related fields
* Proven track record of successfully managing complex website consolidation projects and creation/management of large scale corporate websites
* Demonstrated expertise in optimizing websites for conversion, engagement, and performance
* Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
* Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors/agencies
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage at the executive level
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in B2B software or technology industries
* Background in managing international/multi-region web properties
* Working knowledge of major CMS platforms and marketing technology stacks
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies
* MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus
