Foundations of Personal Wellbeing Advisor

Change Grow Live (CGL) is a charity dedicated to making a difference to the lives of our Service Users. We offer support and respect in a safe environment, treating each user as an individual and working with them to find the right treatment and care options.

Location

Covering Stafford, Burton, Tamworth and Cannock. Base TBC with travel to other sites re‑imbursed.


Hours & Contract

22.5 hours per week (part‑time). Permanent contract. Full‑time hours are 37.5 hours per week; salary and payments are pro‑rata based on contracted hours.


Salary

£27,861.26 - £32,002.35 (CGL points 23 to 28). Salary subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award.


Role Overview

The post holder works as an integral part of CGL and Ingeus, completing Initial Assessments and Action Plans and delivering Foundations of Personal Wellbeing modules to male service users referred by the National Probation Service.


Key Responsibilities

* Complete Initial Assessments and Action Plans using the Ingeus Hub Provision.
* Deliver 11 Foundations of Personal Wellbeing sessions:
1. The Road to Desistance (Parts 1 and 2)
2. Road Map to Desistance
3. Values, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
4. Behaviour Cycles and Mind Traps
5. Communication Barriers
6. Developing Change Capital
7. Connection and Support Networks
8. Grief and Loss
9. Self‑Compassion and Inner Critic
10. Giving Back – Citizenship
* Maintain detailed reports for each service user.
* Demonstrate good organisational skills, excellent time management, IT skills and reporting abilities.


Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have experience working with court‑ordered or community‑ordered individuals and a commitment to providing high‑quality support.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
