Responsibilities
* Supervise kitchen operation to ensure food is of consistently high standard
* Ensure compliance with food & hygiene and health & safety legislation
* Prepare and produce food to the highest standard as specified by senior kitchen staff
* Review employee performance and provide direct feedback and coaching
* Ensure company accounting and control procedures are adhered to
* Liaise closely with casino managers and front‑of‑house team
* Maintain kitchen areas to high standard and report maintenance issues promptly
* Deliver high‑quality customer service through courteous, technically competent staff
* Lead by example displaying four key behaviors of the customer service model
* Support company‑wide customer service initiatives
* Monitor and take fair consistent action on employee conduct and performance issues
* Maintain highest possible standards of appearance, hygiene and personal grooming for staff
* Provide professional, confidential support for staff needs
* Support the club's objectives and foster a team environment
* Encourage employee ideas and communication in management meetings, departmental meetings, and staff forums
* Maintain positive relationships between departments to optimise guest experience
Qualifications
* Proactive, able to work unsupervised
* Ability to motivate and train team members
* High flexibility with role and working hours
* Food safety qualification
* Knowledge of club health & safety and hygiene procedures
* Ability to implement new policies and procedures
* Good communication skills with peers, superiors, and other departments
* Organised and methodical
