About the Role As an ASTI Social Worker, you will: Undertake single assessments to identify needs, risks, and strengths within families. Manage a short-term caseload, delivering timely and effective interventions. Work closely with families to ensure child-centred, outcome-focused practice. Prepare and present reports for child protection conferences, legal planning meetings, and court proceedings as required. Collaborate effectively with partners in health, education, and early help to promote sustained change. Ensure all recording and case management meet statutory requirements and Birmingham Children's Trust standards.About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in frontline safeguarding or assessment teams. Excellent analytical and report-writing skills. Confidence in managing risk, decision-making, and engaging with children and families.
