The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager is the line manager for a team of engineering technicians. They maintain safety through training, development, and coaching, and deliver high equipment availability by ensuring completion of preventive maintenance and adherence to internal processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support and mentor the team, ensuring they work safely, efficiently and in accordance with standards.
* Work with the team and the wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
* Support the Reliability Engineering Manager in collaborating with the Site Safety department & Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance programs.
* Implement network standards and focus on preventive maintenance to provide high equipment availability to internal customers.
* Ensure sufficient technical coverage for shifts owned through organizing and directing the training program.
* Organize local projects or support EU-level projects as assigned by the manager.
* Be prepared to work on shift to maintain a strong connection to the team and daily work.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering
* Experience with computers, including MS Excel, Word and Office
* Experience supervising teams
* Experience in practical engineering
Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
* Experience with preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, and industrial electronics & robotics
* Experience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integrators
* Experience in project management
* Experience with statistical analysis
