Overview
Our environmental Ground & Water specialists support our clients in successful assessment and investigation of Brownfield land, supporting development proposals and commercial decisions. The team are also involved in the Demolition and Decommissioning of entire non-operational power stations to managing small, specialised redundant plants within active process areas.
What you will do
* Ground investigations for large infrastructure projects (e.g., HS2 and Heathrow).
* Remediation and site investigation activities including field works and reporting.
* Support for contaminated land projects and decommissioning and demolition assignments.
* Data collection, site monitoring and preparation of factual and interpretative reports.
* Client liaison, teamwork with project managers/directors, and on-site activities as required.
Teams and roles
* Contaminated Land: Ground & Water (geo-environmental/contaminated land/hydrogeology) work with Phase 1/Phase 2 activities, reporting and project delivery.
* Demolition and Decommissioning: Site-based role supporting decommissioning, demolition and remediation projects with potential travel across the UK and internationally.
What you will be looking for
* You will have graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
* You will hold a UK driving licence or equivalent.
* You will be able to travel in the UK, including overnight stays, and work to budgets and timescales.
* You will have strong communication, attention to detail and adaptability; you will be comfortable learning and collaborating across teams.
* You will be motivated to develop professionally and potentially pursue chartership.
