We are looking for a highly motivated HCPC or General Osteopathic Council registrant with a good understanding of the current workforce challenges across the 14 Allied Health Professions to support the delivery of AHP workforce priorities. The post holder will work with the Corporate AHP Team, reporting directly to the Associate Director for AHPs at West London NHS Trust.
As the AHP Leadership Fellow for AHP support workers you will have a specific remit to work with stakeholders across the system to support the expansion of AHP support worker apprenticeships and support the development of this vital part of the AHP workforce.
You will be able to evidence existing service development experience and will have some project leadership experience. Successful delivery is dependent on collaborative working and the ability to develop relationships so being able to demonstrate strong communication and negotiating skills is essential. You will be a self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and be keen to apply and grow your excellent organisational skills.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of AHP policy, and gain experience of strategic working. The post holder will also benefit from mentoring and development from existing AHP Heads/Leads in the Trust.
The Corporate AHP Team is responsible for leading the strategic development of a sustainable, future-ready AHP workforce. We are seeking a highly motivated, delivery-focused professional with experience in service development and/or project management to lead a key AHP workforce programme.
This role will focus on enabling AHP support workers across the Trust to access Level 3, 5 and degree apprenticeships, whilst supporting the implementation of the AHP Support Worker Competency, Education and Career Development Framework. The post holder will also be expected to contribute to the wider priorities of the Corporate AHP Team, in line with service needs.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of AHP workforce challenges and be a dynamic, innovative individual, capable of building trusted stakeholder relationships while effectively leading and managing change.
