Our Security Liaison team provides Protective Security advice and support to the Royal Household, covering multiple Residences across the U.K. As an Event Security Assistant, your role will work collaboratively to support the organised delivery of event security for all Royal and Ceremonial events. Key Responsibilities: Managing the team’s inbox, you'll handle all incoming queries and requests, either resolving it yourself or escalating and seeking further support to assist. You’ll be supporting the administration for large events and ceremonies such as updating event trackers, managing the recording and distribution of key event data as well as consolidation of key information from different sources. Owning the communications for smaller events, you’ll share details and updates different teams across the household, as well as act as a liaison point to help gather information from around the organisation to help coordinate and plan events. Whilst this role will primarily be based at Buckingham Palace, you will be expected to work at Windsor Castle and other Royal sites when required. There will also be a requirement to occasionally undertake evening and weekend work. About you Essential Criteria: With a keen eye for detail, your strong administrative background will ensure we accurately achieve our goals on time and to a high standard. With excellent communication skills, you'll demonstrate confidence when relaying information across various functions and stakeholders, ensuring consistency and understanding at all levels. Your strong organisational skills and sound decision-making will allow you to work accurately and flexibly in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines. With a background in people facing roles, you'll have the ability to build trust and rapport with individuals at all levels.
