A well-established company operating within the infrastructure sector is currently seeking an Assembly Operative / Forklift Driver to join their team in Worcester on a temp-to-perm basis. The business has over 20 years of industry experience and offers long-term stability and progression for the right candidate.
This role is assembly-focused, with forklift duties supporting daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assembling products and components in line with specifications and quality standards
2. Picking and packing customer orders
3. Loading and unloading deliveries using a Counterbalance forklift
4. Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
5. Stock control and stock rotation
6. Preparing and handling delivery and order paperwork
7. Liaising with transport providers and internal teams as required
Requirements:
8. Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments – essential
9. Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence – essential
10. Experience working in a warehouse or production setting
11. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
12. Good attention to detail and a hands-on approach
13. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
