The role
Westfield Housing Association are seeking a Business Administrator to join their team in September! The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. The successful applicant will gain valuable experience in business administration while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Association. Key Responsibilities Providing professional front-line customer service to tenants, customers, and members of the public in person, over the telephone, and via email. Managing customer enquiries and repair requests, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and passed to contractors for action. Monitoring and maintaining shared inboxes, responding to enquiries and processing repairs and invoices in a timely manner. Processing rent payments and supporting financial administration tasks. Updating and maintaining records on housing management systems, including the completion of repair cases. Offering advice and information on housing options and re-housing opportunities to customers. Processing housing applications in line with organisational policies and assisting with the management of housing waiting lists. Conducting customer satisfaction surveys and recording feedback to help improve services. Supporting the administration of complaints by accurately recording information and maintaining up-to-date records. Taking meeting minutes, maintaining filing systems, and managing incoming and outgoing post. Assisting with the smooth operation of office equipment and maintaining adequate stationery supplies. Providing administrative support to colleagues across different departments, including maintaining spreadsheets and organisational records. Ensuring the confidentiality and security of customer information and organisational documents. Promoting equality, diversity, health and safety, and excellent customer service standards at all times. Working collaboratively as part of a team while also managing tasks independently and providing support where required. Working hours Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm Annual Leave Entitlement 25 days Qualifications 5 GCSE at grade 4 or above including English and Maths Benefits
