Responsibilities
This role plays a vital part in the production of television and radio programmes, creative media, and podcasting, while also supporting website content management and social media tools. You'll be responsible for maintaining and operating studio equipment, including TV studio cameras, control room systems, and radio studio technology, ensuring seamless production workflows. We're looking for a dynamic team player with the technical expertise and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced media environment. If you're passionate about content creation and studio operations, this is the role for you.
Person Specification
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
* Experience of working in Further Education or Higher Education
Experienced in using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of applications – Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, - or other non-linear video editing systems: Apple iMovie / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve - plus Photoshop and InDesign
Experience of working with content management systems and social media management tools.
Good level of analytical and problem solving skills.
Wide range of IT and technical skills to meet the requirements of the University technology, users and customers.
Ability to use own initiative and work independently and as part of a Team.
Good organisational, planning and prioritising skills.
Excellent customer services skills, including the ability to deal with contacts both within and outside the institution.
* Keen interest in media production technology, willing to learn new skills via training on relevant software.
