Day‑to‑day duties include:
 * Answering phones and booking appointments
 * Responding to queries via phone, in person, and email
 * Registering new clients
 * Completing insurance forms
 * Dispensing medications
 * Taking payments
 * Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice
What we're looking for
The successful candidate will have a good telephone manner, the ability to multi‑task, a good sense of humour, and be empathetic.
 * Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
 * Resilient and able to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
 * An excellent communicator with strong empathy
 * Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
 * A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
