About the Venue
Connexin Live is one of the busiest venues in the region. Attracting thousands of visitors each year, the 3,500 capacity Arena has hosted the biggest names in live entertainment, conference and banqueting, award ceremonies and exhibitions.
Working at Connexin Live is an exciting and fun opportunity for all, with the added bonus of flexible shifts to fit around the other important things in life. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our food and beverage team working on a casual event driven basis.
The Role
As a member of our food and beverage team you will support the Head Chef, with a specific emphasis on food production, waste, safety and allergen controls. The right candidate will be reliable, have excellent communication skills, will be able to work calmly under pressure, and possess a good level of knowledge of culinary skills with a great can-do attitude!
A proven track record of working in a similar role would be beneficial but not necessary as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Under the direction of the Head Chef, to lead food production in designated area.
* Checking stock levels daily, use in correct order and notify if running low.
* Assisting in Production and execution of dishes for all areas
* Be responsible for daily due diligence paperwork in your area
* Keep areas clean and tidy to legal requirements
* Be aware of the current Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
* Any other duties assigned by the Head Chef/Lead Chef.

* Experience within the food and beverage industry would be ideal
