Job Description
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Chef De Partie in the heart of London! We're seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to contribute to our kitchen's success and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes, including meat, fish, and vegetables, according to established recipes and standards
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
* Wash, sanitise, and store dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to the highest standards
* Assist with general kitchen porter duties, including waste disposal and equipment maintenance to support kitchen operations
* Properly store and rotate food items to minimise waste and ensure freshness
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service
* Assist in adjusting menu items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific dietary concerns
* Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
* Ensure adequate supplies of clean utensils, crockery, and other kitchen equipment
* Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth operations
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
* Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar kitchen environment
* Strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
* Knowledge of proper food storage and rotation practices
* Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
* Right to work in the UK
