Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for our clients.
Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals in daily living activities including meal preparation and medication management.
* Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate any changes to the care team.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
* Good IT skills for maintaining records and using care management software.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients when necessary.

Pay: £12.21-£12.30 per hour
