Office Manager
Salary : £30-35k based on experience. To achieve the higher rate you will have a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
Full time, permanent office based Monday – Friday
Hours : 8:30 – 5:30pm with an hour unpaid lunch or the option to flex to 8:30 - 5pm with half an hour unpaid lunch
DC Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Office Manager for our client in Northants, Corby. Ideally someone who thrives on variety, enjoys being the go-to person and has a proven track record managing at a senior level.
Working for a leading retail display business your key responsibilities will include :
•Office Operations & Environment:
Ensure the day-to-day smooth running of the office, manage relationships with cleaning contractors and handle procurement of office and kitchen supplies.
•Business Services Management:
From IT and phones to utilities, security, and local authority, ensuring compliance and uninterrupted operations.
•Sales & Project Support:
Provide operational support to the sales team. Help manage smaller projects, update internal systems, liaise with suppliers, and act as a central contact for both clients and the production team.
•Logistics & Despatch Oversight:
Manage despatch processes to ensure goods are delivered efficiently and on time. Choose the best suppliers, resolve delivery issues to keep things moving.
•Supplier & IT Coordination:
Serve as the main point of contact for all office-related suppliers, including IT support and emergency/security services. Maintain strong, responsive relationships to keep everything running smoothly.
•Insurance & Facilities:
Handle company insurance policies, asset protection, and building maintenance bringing peace of mind and operational continuity to the business.
•Finance & Purchasing Support:
Assist with supplier communications and queries, and step in with production and purchasing tasks when needed.

•Exceptional communication skills, comfortable working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams alike.
•An approachable, professional, and positive attitude with a good sense of humour
•Strong organisational skills, you’ll hold the keys to our critical business systems and information.
•Solid IT literacy and comfort with business systems such as HR & finance,
•A proactive, dependable self-starter who thrives without micromanagement.
•Adaptability and a team spirit—ready to jump in wherever help is needed.
