We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our clients growing team on a full-time permanent basis in their Alford premises. Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 0900 – 1700 and Fridays 0900 – 1600 You will play a vital role in managing financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. Key Responsibilities: Handling and recording transactions accurately for purchase and sales ledger Processing of all invoices Assigning and reviewing transactions for accuracy along with bank reconciliations Assisting with preparation and submission of VAT returns Producing of reports General admin duties as required by the manager Required Skills and Experience: AAT Level 3 qualification (or relevant experience) Proficiency in bookkeeping software Xero/Sage Cloud Confident in Microsoft Office especially Excel Ability to understand, analyse, and present financial data clearly Good team player who can be trusted to work independently Strong organisational and time management abilities Handling sensitive financial data confidentially Please note applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK prior to submission.
