IVVQ Manager – Naval

Thales Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) UK is a principal supplier of UAS, EW and Radar equipment to the UK armed forces, as well as an exporter of these capabilities worldwide. We are looking for a senior engineer with the skills and experience to enhance our Electronic Warfare portfolio, delivering cutting edge products including Digital Radar and Electronic Support Measures (RESM) and Radar Electronic Countermeasures (RECM).
Role Summary: The Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification Manager (IVVQM) defines the IVVQ strategy and associated test means to integrate solution elements, verify compliance with requirements, validate operational scenario coverage, and qualify the solution in its operational environment. You will manage all test activities and coordinate IVVQ across teams, processes, and tools.
Responsibilities
* Define and maintain the overall IVVQ strategy
* Tailor the IVVQ environment (processes, practices, tools, HSE)
* Coordinate IVVQ activities, establish priorities and integration diagrams, conduct tests, analyse results, and communicate findings to development teams
* Coordinate technical data management (e.g., JIRA) and governance
* Manage workload, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions as needed
* Ensure IVVQ delivers integration satisfaction for external and internal customers
* Define test benches and monitor test progress
* Consolidate and report test results; contribute to qualification/acceptance/certification
* Support knowledge capitalisation and lessons learned for the department
* Involvement in budgeting and scheduling for proposals
* Ensure clear testability of requirements
Profile of the successful candidate
* Engineering or scientific degree with significant experience in architecture and engineering systems
* Experience as IVVQ Manager, managing IVVQ teams and executing complex test plans and procedures
* Ability to oversee all IVVQ activities, selecting and managing methods, resources, and means to execute test plans
* Experience leading teams, mentoring staff, and driving performance
* Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated leader who fosters collaborative work and challenging approaches
* Commitment to delivering robust solutions and value to customers

* Ability to lead and manage projects from start to finish, including defining test strategy, scheduling, and risk/opportunity assessment

Security Clearance Requirement
This role requires sole British nationality from birth and Security Clearance (SC). Candidates may need to undergo and maintain SC clearance prior to employment.
