Teaching Assistant - Year 2 (Autism Support)
Location: Chesterfield
Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term until at least Christmas
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child with autism, working closely with the class teacher and SEND team to provide tailored, one-to-one support in Year 2.
About the Role:
Full-time role, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
Supporting a child with autism on a 1:1 basis, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies that support learning, communication, and social development.
Encouraging independence and building positive relationships.
About You:
Experience supporting children with SEND, including autism, is essential.
A patient, caring, and resilient approach with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a supportive team and adapt to meet the needs of the child.
