St. Andrew’s and St. Mark’s CofE Junior is an outstanding school (Ofsted 2021) that believes in developing teaching talent. As such, all teachers in our school have been with us from their ECT year. We have an exciting opportunity for a teacher to join us in September.

Staff are overwhelmingly positive about their support from school leaders. They say their workload is considered and they feel they have a say in school decisions. All staff who took the survey stated they enjoy working at the school.
What do we need from a new teacher in our school?
We are looking for a teacher who :
9. is a highly capable classroom practitioner
10. has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
11. is able to motivate, inspire support and promote the ethos of the school
12. is keen to develop professional expertise
13. is creative and flexible
14. enjoys working with supportive parents, governors and the wider community
15. is a practicing Christian or is in sympathy with the ethos of a church school
Teachers have strong subject knowledge. They make excellent use of resources such as the science laboratory and the design and technology room. (Ofsted - December 2021)
