Cleaning Operative – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

Contract: Conference centre, Dunfermline
Type: Cleaning Operative
Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Location: Dunfermline
Role Responsibilities
* Ensure equipment is kept clean, well‑maintained, and in safe working order
* Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules
* Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used
* Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training
* Work effectively both within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service

* Ability to communicate and read basic English
* Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential
* Flexible and proactive approach to work
* Open, honest, self‑driven, and determined attitude
* Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour
