We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4/5 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a creative and engaging curriculum to students across both Year 4 and Year 5, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as a Year 4/5 Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the individual learning needs of students in Year 4 and Year 5
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, independent thinking, and a love of learning
* Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting lessons to suit diverse learning styles
* Support students with both academic and social challenges, ensuring all pupils are able to achieve their full potential
* Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to ensure the success and well-being of each student
* Encourage students to become independent learners, developing skills that will serve them throughout their education
* Contribute to the wider school community through school events, extracurricular activities, and collaborative teaching
Ideal Year 4/5 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 4 and Year 5
* A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methods
* Passion for working with children and supporting their development in both academic and personal growth
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain high expectations for all learners as a Year 4/5 Teacher.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to working within a team
