We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4/5 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a creative and engaging curriculum to students across both Year 4 and Year 5, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development. This role begins September 2025. Duties as a Year 4/5 Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the individual learning needs of students in Year 4 and Year 5 Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, independent thinking, and a love of learning Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting lessons to suit diverse learning styles Support students with both academic and social challenges, ensuring all pupils are able to achieve their full potential Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to ensure the success and well-being of each student Encourage students to become independent learners, developing skills that will serve them throughout their education Contribute to the wider school community through school events, extracurricular activities, and collaborative teaching Ideal Year 4/5 Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 4 and Year 5 A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methods Passion for working with children and supporting their development in both academic and personal growth Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain high expectations for all learners as a Year 4/5 Teacher.
