Reporting to the Group Technical Manager you will be responsible for all technical aspects on site.

What your typical day will look like as Technical Manager:
4. Maintain unannounced Grade A BRC - experience with BRC audits essential
5. Maintenance of Quality Manual (HACCP, TACCP, Procedures and records)
6. HACCP Team leader - minimum training - Intermediate
7. Lead and guide on TACCP
8. Specifications - Responsible for documenting and issuing of farm and packing specifications and updating customer technical libraries when required.
9. New lines - Responsible for ensuring labelling machines are set up correctly, and training of associated records/packing specifications to relevant operators.
10. Maintenance of cleaning procedures
11. Packhouse staff induction / Training on new procedures etc.
12. Traceability from farming - packhouse - customer
13. Responsible for ensuring Internal audits, Traceability and Product Recall exercises etc conducted to schedule
14. Manage packhouse QC team
15. Manage and follow through on customer complaints
16. Liaise with all departments of the company - NPD, Production, Sales etc.
17. Prepare and conduct farm audits Bord Bia, Nurture, Global Gap and Field to Fork annual audits and any customer audits, and follow up with corrective actions
18. Manage Department audits across farms and packhouse, and follow up with corrective actions
19. Ensure GMP across all growing sites and packhouse
