Job role: Shift Engineer Up To £60,000 Company Benefits Overtime Development: Ongoing Training, Progression & Career Support We are working in partnership with a leading FMCG manufacturing business that is looking for a shift engineer to work across warehouse, packaging, and production teams. Due to continued growth and investment across the site, they are now seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join their engineering team. Key Responsibilities: * Ensuring all plant and production equipment operates safely, reliably, and in line with performance standards. * Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of high-speed manufacturing and packaging machinery. * Maintaining equipment including conveyors, robotics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves, and associated mechanical and electrical systems. * Supporting the installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery on site. * Undertaking hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and fault rectification. * Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime. * Following planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and accurately recording all maintenance activity. * Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and compliance with site health and safety procedures. * Working proactively to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, performance, and cost efficiency. * Providing technical support to production teams, including assistance with machine setups and operator training where required. * Upholding company values at all times through a positive, professional, and accountable approach.
