AL918- CCTV Engineer – Install
Location: West Midlands (Nationwide Travel)
Salary: From £35,000- £40,000 Per Annum (DOE)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated CCTV Install Engineer to join a well-established, family-run CCTV specialist with over 30 years’ industry experience. This role focuses on the installation and commissioning of CCTV and Door Access Control systems across the UK.
You will be part of a professional and supportive engineering team, delivering high-quality installations while maintaining excellent customer service and compliance with health and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Install and commission CCTV and Door Access Control systems to a high standard
Travel nationwide to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays (accommodation and subsistence provided)
Ensure all installations comply with current regulations, standards, and company procedures
Organise materials and equipment required for each project
Complete all relevant paperwork, including service sheets and job completion certificates
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Adhere strictly to Health & Safety policies, RAMS, and site-specific requirements
Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Provide feedback and updates to the Install Manager as required
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience installing CCTV systems (Access Control experience advantageous)
Strong technical knowledge of CCTV installation and commissioning
Confident working at height and in varied environments
Excellent attention to detail with a practical, hands-on approach
Strong communication and customer service skills
Organised, reliable, and capable of accurate job reporting
Full, clean UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 2 years)
Basic IT skills
Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks
DBS checked or willing to undergo a DBS check
