To foster positive relationships with staff, children and their significant adults and families, and to safely meet the physical care and management needs of children who may sometimes present behaviour that reflects their difficult. feelings.To undertake a lead role in ensuring the care and welfare of each child in placement.
To give guidance and support to all Residential Childcare Workers.
Essential Skills
Experience of working with children
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
Desirable Skills
Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare – desirable.
Social Work Qualification – desirable
Team Teach positive behaviour accreditation - desirable
