As a Disability Assessor, you’ll use your clinical expertise to help people understand how their health conditions affect their daily lives. It’s a meaningful role with no night shifts, weekends, or bank holidays — just consistent hours and ongoing support.
What’s on Offer
Salary: £37,500–£42,000, increasing by £1,000 at 6 and 12 months
Performance bonus: up to 10%
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (no shifts or overtime)
Hybrid working: a mix of office and home-based assessments
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays, with the option to buy up to 5 extra days

Ongoing training and a clear path for career progression About the Role
Carry out structured health and disability assessments, both face-to-face and via telephone
Review medical evidence and use your clinical judgement to assess the impact of conditions on daily living
Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
Work in a supportive environment where quality and professionalism come first Full training provided
You’ll receive 12 weeks of paid, structured training covering DWP guidance, assessment methods, and report writing. No previous assessor experience is required.
Who We’re Looking For
Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist
At least one year of post-registration experience working with adults
Current NMC, HCPC, or GPhC registration
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Confident using IT systems and managing your own caseload Please note: sponsorship is not available for this role.
