Based - Morrisons Head Office, Bradford (with some travel to our office in Lutterworth, Leicestershire)
Salary - £34,000 per annum
We are recruiting for a Shared Resource to act as a conduit between Premier Foods and Morrisons, ensuring the relationship is maintained by supporting the demand forecast process for the customer, whilst adhering to both Morrisons and Premier Foods processes.
Please note, the initial training period will be for 6 weeks in Bradford. After training, you will be required in the Lutterworth office 3 days a week,with travel to Bradford once or twice a month.
What you will be doing:
1. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues at the Supplier & Morrisons, representing the Supplier professionally throughout
2. Primary point of contact for issue resolution across the supply chain for your product range
3. Proficiency of Blue Yonder (LDE) Demand Planning systems to ensure accurate information flow, in order to improve item-store forecast accuracy
4. Chairing regular meetings between Premier Foods teams and Morrisons Commercial teams, following up on actions and initiatives agreed
5. Monitoring and analysing results/KPIs, taking corrective action to balance availability and waste/inventory based on business and commercial objectives
6. Analysis of safety stock settings and strategies to work towards optimisation of store presentation levels
7. Proactive communication of service issues ensuring alignment and any actions are then undertaken with thought given to sales cannibalisation where required
8. Key event management with a specific focus on delivering for customers/consumers at key trading periods (Christmas/Easter etc.)
What we need from you:
9. Demand Planning and/or supply chain planning experience, within a customer facing environment
10. Strong communicator with confidence to work cross functionally, in order to acquire information necessary to maintain and improve strong forecast accuracy
11. Commercial awareness and analytical skills required to most effectively manage forecasting systems
12. Problem solving mindset focussed on smooth issue resolution
13. Strong technical proficiency on bespoke replenishment systems and Microsoft Office programs
