You will be working across different classes and will be involved in all stages of the claims process from first notification to settlement working closely with a large, major Client.
You will work closely with your Client to agree the strategy and process for the notification, agreement, collection and successful settlement of this portfolio of claims.
Our Client, a major Insurance Broker, is expanding and is looking to recruit another Claims Handler to work in their experienced and well regarded team.

As a successful Claims Handler, you will :
1. Carefully handle the claims negotiation process with your client, underwriters and or their appointed legal representatives and or loss adjusters.
2. Proactively anticipate and present to your client the best settlement solution.
3. Provide recommendations on coverage to facilitate the settlement of claims.
4. Co-ordinate discussions and meetings to ensure superior level of communication between the client, underwriter and their representatives concerning the proposed settlement.
5. Use your depth of product and market knowledge to help in resolving contentious claims.
6. Engage and oversee third party providers e.g. loss adjusters, lawyers, surveyors etc.
7. Technical support for pre-renewal meetings, placing and renewal.
To be a successful Claims Handler you will demonstrate:
8. Strong Casualty, Liability or Property claims knowledge and settlement experience
9. Knowledge of FCA requirements and standards
10. Confident negotiation skills
11. Enthusiastic approach to client service with strong relationship building skills
12. Good analytical mind set and excellent problem-solving skills
